I love it.
Today is Brittney's 10th birthday.
Good and weird all at the same time.
She's so excited that it may be humanly impossible for her to stop smiling.
(Gee, I have no idea where she would get that trait.)
We have gymnastics and swimming and wrestling tonight...
and Nate worked shift today...
so it will be a late birthday dinner.
She wanted Pistachio Lush instead of cake,
which is kind of nice because Nate's the one that always makes that.
I flew to Florida last Wednesday and got back last night.
Nate does such a great job with everything.
Maybe I should be the one working and he should stay home.
Science projects were finished, other school projects I had completely forgotten about were taken care of.
He even remembered to pick up my coffee filters from the store... AND bought me Coke at Albertson's.
(Because it was on sale. We never pay full price.)
I have an amazing husband.
(Who also found time to make Brit's Pistachio Lush, even with a gymnastics meet that was in Longmont Saturday and the science experiments.)
Today was a running around day.
Maybe tomorrow will be my down day.
By the way, I'd just like to point out that NaBloPoMo is half way through and I'm right on track.
(This is where you have permission to sing a certain song.)
I was playing and singing over at the World Prayer Center a bit ago.
Now my fingers hurt.
I really need to sit down and play more often.
Of course, it may also have something to do with the fact my fingers were already a tad raw from grabbing sea shells off the beautiful Navarre beach on Saturday.
But I played guitar on Sunday morning just fine.
I'll post pics from my awesome Florida trip soon.
(But, I always say that. And then take forever.
Not intentionally, mind you.)
Until then, since posts are better with photos, here's a random one from Brit's gymnastics meet the other weekend:
I'm so thankful for my life... my husband... my children... my God who puts crazy, far-out-there dreams inside of me... and then fulfills them.
