My Goal

"One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done."
~Marie Curie (1867-1934), French Scientist

I'm trying to work on this. I'm trying to see what I've done, and be proud of that.

I don't want to forget what still needs to be accomplished. I don't want to focus too much on the past that the present becomes blurry or the future out-of-focus.

But, I also don't want to always be rushing so fast into the future that I can't enjoy the right here, right now. I don't want to be so weighted by what is calling for my attention that I pass on celebrating what I have conquered.

In the running toward my hearts desires... in the unpacking of boxes and making of my home... in the quest to deepen new relationships... in the constant struggle to parent well... in the giving of my life everyday...

I want to be proud of what I've done, savor the moment of what is, and be excited for what is to come.

This is my goal.

Great picture! This is so true. God Bless you as He shows you how to dream ahead and look at all the things that you have accomplished and yet live for Him now. Thanks for the encouragement.
